RAQUEL HARRINGTON / BIO

A bit about me personally: I am 31, dog mom to a tiny shihzhu-poodle mix named Mickey. I am also very travel driven, 25 countries and counting and so far, South East Asia has my heart. 

A bit about how I wound up in Graphic Design. Originally, I got my Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism from the University of Kentucky. I quickly decided that was not the field for me and decided to use my minor and my Associate's degrees in Business Management instead and started my own enamel pin business. I now vend at conventions too. After about 3 years of doing my own artwork as a self-taught artist I went back to Valencia Community College where I now take classes for fun and pursue technical certificates in various areas of art and graphics. I decided to begin freelancing after I was constantly having requests while vending at conventions for help with logos, booth graphics and commissions for pin designs, so here I am now.
